Wow, amazing the difference the outline can make to a picture. It actually seems easier to digitize the outline like this, instead of using the black and white outline scan mode of the scanner. Plus the end result looks a lot cleaner.

Heh, my scanner has an outline scan mode I had been using, but I've started drawing over the lines in GIMP lately. Oh, let just say she's going to have a time dealing with those two.
